ТЕМА (сюжет): 1. Hanging out. 2. Landmarks of the British Isles.

ЦЕЛИ:

Образовательные: 1. Содействие общему образованию учащихся;

2. Познакомить учащихся с географией Великобритании.

Развивающие: 1. Формировать иноязычные речевые механизмы слухового и зрительного восприятия, прогнозирования, выбора и комбинирования;

2. Развивать культуру умственного труда (планировать высказывание, подбирать материал, использовать опорные конспекты).

Воспитательные: 1. Поддерживать интерес к учению и формировать познавательную активность;

2. Содействовать формированию у учащихся интереса к культуре и народу страны изучаемого языка;

3. Воспитывать культуру общения.

ПРАКТИЧЕСКИЕ ЗАДАЧИ:

1. Учить читать текст про себя с общим охватом содержания;

2. Совершенствовать умение задавать вопросы к прочитанному тексту;

3. Учить догадываться о значении новых слов;

4. Учить понимать текст со слуха, несмотря на наличие в нем незнакомых слов;

5. Учить составлять рассказ по аналогии с текстом-образцом;

6. Учить давать оценку событию, выражать свое мнение;

7. Учить высказываться в диалог по ситуации;

8. Проверить умение отвечать на вопросы, задавать вопросы;

9. Учить употреблять структуры с глаголами в настоящем времени;

10. Проверить умение использовать Present Simple/Present Continuous.

ХОД УРОКА:

I. Подготовка учащихся к иноязычной речевой деятельности.

T: Good afternoon, children. Today we will get to know with new words, talk about your free timе, learn about the sights of Great Britain, and learn how to tell about the sights ourselves.

So our theme is hanging out. Look at the photo, it is about our topic. How do you think our theme is translated?

P1: Maybe «развлекаться, тусоваться»?

T: Good! Remember that we use Present Simple when we talk about regular actions and states.

Time expressions:

Always, usually, sometimes, often, r every day/ year/week , never

For example: The boy lives in the country.

Children like chocolate.

Present Continuous

Обозначает:

• Fixed arrangement in the near future (заранее запланированное действие в будущем)

Action happening now (действие происходящее в данный момент)

Формула образования:

• Am, is, are + Ving

• I am ; he, she, it is ; we, you, they are

Time expressions:

Now, at the moment

For example: I always run.

I'm running now.

She often writes poems. At the moment she is writing a letter.

Look at the pictures. Picture № 1 - do you know this building, which is located in Australia?

P1: Yes, this is The Sydney Opera House.

Т: Yes, that right. Let's imagine if you were in Sydney, what would you do in your free time?

P2: I think we can do a lot of things in Sydney. We can go shopping, go for coffee…

T: Or we can also go surfing, and in the evening we can go to the cinema or to the theatre.

2. Let's remember the map of the British Isles. Look at the map. Tell me the countries and their capitals.

P1: Ireland — Dublin, Scotland — Edinburgh;

P2: Northern Ireland — Belfast, Wales — Cardiff, England — London

T: Good! Well, imagine that you are on a guided tour. What questions would you ask the guide? Think about it and read the texts, so after reading write down the questions in your notebook. I give you 5 minutes for this task

VI. Автоматизация новой лексики. Режим: T – Cl

Well done! Now pay attention to our new vocabulary. How do we translate these words?

For example: 1) date back (exp): come from the time - (восходить, брать начало);
2) fortress (n): a type of castle - (крепость);

4) ghost (n): an imaginary image of dead people - (привидение, призрак);

VIII. Заключительный этап урока:

1. So thank you so much for your work! Your homework: page 11 № 5 (book). You should write about one attraction in Russia. Use our texts as a sample. You can use the Internet to find information. Approximately 10-15 sentences.

• the names of the attraction

• where it is located

• the description (unique, spooky, etc.)

• whether there are legends.
