5)Формирование навыков монологической речи учащихся.

Совершенствование навыков произношения

T: Let’s play the game “Cross-zero”. Look at the blackboard please. Here you can see the table with some words. Each team has to give 1 explanation of the word correctly. If it is a right answer, the team has to put a cross or a zero. “Robots” will put a cross and “People” will put a zero. The winner is a command which names more interesting and correct variants of explanation.

The winner gets 1 point.

T: Well done! Look at the blackboard now. Here you can see a classic crossword puzzle. Your task is to find more words for 3 minutes. 1 player from the 1st team underlines 1 word and 1 player from the 2nd team underlines other word.

7)Формирование навыков аудирования и чтения.


T: Good work! The next our game is “Bingo” It is a well-known traditional English game for all ages. Now I’ll give you the cards with some words. Then you’ll listen to the text about science and technology. You have to underline the words when you listen to them. When you’ll underline all of them you have to shout “Bingo”. The winner is the quickest in this game and he gets 1 point.

Развитие мышления и памяти, совершенствование навыков аудирования и чтения.

T: Well done! Now I’ll give you the cards with 2 dialogues. The 1st dialogue will be between 1 person from the team “Robots” and another from the 2nd team “People”. Make up a dialogue between an engineer and a customer using the phrases from the card.


T: The 2nd dialogue will be between 1 person from the team “Robots” and another from the 2nd team “People”. Make up a dialogue between a scientist and a cosmonaut using the phrases from the card.

Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи и письма

T: Well done! But now imagine that you are a school career adviser and choose the partner from your team. He will be one of the school leavers. Open your textbooks at the p.39, ex.67. You can see 3 cards with information about 3 school leavers. Make up a dialogue. Say what jobs you would recommend her/him to take up. You have 6 minutes to make the task.

T: Boys and girls, open your record books, please and write down your home assignment. You must learn the professions on the p.3 and write the composition of 10-15 sentences about the profession of your dream.

T: And now this is the main moment of our lesson. We will count our scores and choose the winner. The team of girls is winner. But as for me the friendship has won. And I will give you the big cake from “the Big Baker”.

Cl: A job is the work that a person does regularly in order to earn money.

Cl: A career is the series of jobs that a person does in his or her life, usually in one and the same field.


5)T: My dear children and the last question: What new professions do you know?

Cl: A policeman, a dancer, a programmer, a miner, a hairdresser, a shop assistant, a stewardess, a veterinarian, a painter, a driver.


T: And, finally, I want to repeat the proverb all
